The Session

Your session will last at least one hour.  Being a mother myself, I understand if your child needs a break, snack, drink, etc…  My goal for your photography session is to capture the moments that represent you, your child and your family.  It will be very casual and relaxed.  I want everyone to have fun, be comfortable and be themselves! 

The Location

Shooting outdoors is ideal.  Photographs of children at play and families in a natural environment so often capture their true selves .  I have both an indoor and outdoor studio at my home.  You can also choose your favorite park, your yard, or any other spot you prefer.  I can also likely recommend places near you.   Memories are made every day and I am honored to help families preserve them.   

Natural lighting is used without additional flash to protect delicate eyes for infants under four months.. 

The Proofs

Your proofs will be available for viewing within 2 weeks of your portrait session.  You can expect anywhere from 30-40 proofs.  I will e-mail you a password that you will use to open your private on-line gallery.   You may share this password with friends and family.  Your online image gallery will stay active for 6 weeks.  You will need to place your order for prints within these 6 weeks.   A CD of all of your photographs is also available. 

Prints and Products

All proofs, prints and image products such as albums, Giclee, fine art, mounted images, etc... are created by a professional photography lab.

Personal check, cash, and Paypal accepted.

Kathleen Scott Photography reserves the right to publish and/or reproduce each pose.  All images, both online proofs and actual prints are protected by federal copyright laws.  Illegal reproduction is stricly prohibited. 

Kathleen Scott Photography reserves the right to use images for advertisement, critique, exhibit, or competition in print or online.
